A Visit from The Rib Man: Mark Gevaux

Yesterday we had the great privilege of a visit from one of our long-time customers and a legend in the hot sauce world—Mark Gevaux, better known as The Rib Man. Mark’s sauces have become a staple for spice enthusiasts, with his Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce winning 8 Champion @wingfest trophies, a testament to his dedication to flavour and quality.

We’ve collaborated with Mark for many years, sourcing our chillies to craft his range of hot sauces, BBQ sauces, and rib rubs that have captivated food lovers across the UK. His sauces are bold, fiery, and deeply flavourful, a perfect match for his pop-up BBQ kitchen, where he serves mouth-watering slow-cooked rib meat drenched in his signature sauces.

During Mark’s visit, we had the chance to reflect on his incredible journey and the role our chillies have played in shaping his award-winning products. Holding a bottle of his iconic Bacon Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce in the Farm Shop was a poignant moment—it symbolized the full circle of our collaboration, from farm to table, and the shared passion behind every bottle.
