We had a wonderful time at the Paris Festival of Agriculture and Food, also known as Salon International de l’Agriculture. It was one of the busiest events we’ve ever attended. This is an incredibly unique Parisian event. This event has been held annually for the past 59 years and it showcases both regional and international gastronomy. The festival is open to both professionals and public alike. It offers the complete range of French agriculture and includes more than 1,000 exhibitors, from 23 countries, has 1,400 breeds and more than 2,800 animals.
Some of the highlights of the festival include examples of environmentally friendly bio-sourced products, the Milking Parlour, and also Bread making. There are areas highlighting new trends in urban agriculture, information on industry jobs, and a special Agri’Détente relaxation area with entertainment for the little ones.
Next year the event will take place in Paris Porte de Versailles (VIPARIS) Paris on 24 February to 3 March 2024. Our verdict? Delicious.
