While we still grow and curate some of the UK’s most unique chilli varieties, our focus has expanded to helping other food creators bring their ideas to life. From bespoke chilli products and sauces to contract packaging and consultancy, we provide the know-how and facilities to make exceptional products a reality.

Our approach is simple: combine deep horticultural expertise with practical, creative solutions for artisan food makers. We work closely with independent retailers, chefs, and hot sauce creators, offering everything from raw ingredients to fully packaged products. By maintaining a small line of our own signature products, we demonstrate our commitment to quality while showing our partners what’s possible.

At Chilli Ranch, it’s not just about chillies – it’s about flavour, creativity, and helping you craft something extraordinary.

We purchased Cherwood Nursery in the tiny hamlet of Chawston, Bedfordshire in 2007. Since our arrival we’ve erected 10 polytunnels, built a log cabin for hosting events, a new commercial kitchen for making chilli sauces, and a café and shop. Today, all cooking and growing activities are now consolidated here at the Chilli Ranch and we’re open to the public who can come and see dozens of varieties of chilli plants for sale, or sit down for a bite to eat in the cafe’.
