The Chilli Tour and Tasting for Two
This is the one where it all started way back in 2009. The Tour and Tasting was our first chilli experience and today it remains the most popular by a country mile. This is the best introduction to the Chilli Ranch. The tours run throughout our chilli growing season from approximately May until November.
- We’ll share some interesting facts with you about chilli peppers.
- You’ll go for a walk around the ranch and see lots of different varieties growing.
- We’ll show you how we grow commercially
- We’ll finish with a hosted tasting sensation of delicious gourmet products and fresh chillies!!! Don’t worry, we’ll have some milk handy if you need to put the fire out.
This is an informal, fun and friendly experience with real passionate hosts who love what they do.
After the tour why not stock up on chillies and sauces in the shop or try some of our delicious cakes or even lunch in our onsite cafe.
Afternoon Tea with Tasting Session
For some, a regular afternoon tea is just a bit too bland, where the only heat you’ll find is in a pot of tea. If you’re one with a more fiery palate, then this Chilli Afternoon Tea for Two including a hosted Chilli Tasting will put your tongue to the test.
Along with your afternoon tea you’ll also both be treated to a chilli tasting, where you can try fresh chillies and gourmet chilli sauces hosted by a chilli nursery expert. If chillies are your thing, you can’t get much better than this.

Chilli Growers Workshop
Having been very favourably received we are proud to bring you the Chilli Grower Workshop again for the upcoming season. This offer is for TWO (2) people, lasts between two and three hours and covers the following topics:
- How to grow your peppers from seed successfully.
- Tips for getting bigger and more productive plants.
- Good advice that will help you to decide when to pick your chillies.
- How to over-winter your plant to get a second season.
- Hot to reduce the risks of pests and disease.
Cooking with Chillies Made Simple Workshop for two people
This fun and informal cook-along session begins with a short discussion on the characteristics of chilli peppers. Next we enjoy a short tour of the nursery. We select some fresh, dried, smoked or maybe even frozen chillies for use in our selected recipe’s. You’ll cook-along together three chilli-inspired dishes that you can take home and enjoy. The session ends with a tasting session of gourmet chilli products and fresh chillies in the restaurant.

This fun, hands-on workshop has been running for more than six years and has received excellent feedback.
When you grow chillies you soon learn they all come at the same time. This workshop is for those of you who want to transform those spicy beauties into something that will have a shelf life but that you can use and enjoy in food.
This course is all about cooking up sauces, jams, pickles using chillies. We hope to inspire you to develop your own signature product that you can enjoy yourself as well as share with family and friends.
The workshop is delivered in an informal, interactive, and friendly environment in the test kitchen here at the ranch. Here’s an example of the topics we’ll cover:
